Problems with Software

Over the course of this past week, I had been having some troubles with the Visual Studio IDE and Unreal Engine software. These softwares would often slow down and become unresponsive at random times. While using Unreal Engine's live coding, my IDE, Visual Studio, would stop saving changes after a certain point and require me to restart the program and lose some progress. These problems were hampering me from completing my tasks in a timely manner.

To fix these issues, I had to uninstall Visual Studio and Unreal Engine, delete their related files and folders that weren't removed, and did a new and clean reinstall of these software. In addition, I had to switch from using Visual Studio to Jetbrains Rider as my preferred IDE. Switching from Visual Studio to Jetbrains Rider really did help as I find it to be much faster and easier to use than Visual Studio for Unreal Engine. I suppose it makes sense as Rider is built for game development and its tools like Unreal Engine.
